In order to fulfill your purpose in life, it’s important to have direction. This direction influences what we do, how we do it and who we do it with. The key to a fulfilled life is having a person mission statement that helps guide your decisions and keeps your accountable. Believe it or not, Jesus had a mission statement and lived his life by it. Let’s go a little deeper…

Jesus Knew His Purpose

I Timothy 1:15 (NKJV) – This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

·       Jesus understood His “why”. His assignment was to come to earth and die for the sins of the world.

·       When you know your “why” or your purpose, it brings clarity and direction to your life.

God has a Plan

Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV) – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

·       God is a planner and a designer. He created you for a reason and has a plan for your life. We must follow God’s example and become a planner. We must do our part.

Jesus was Intentional

Luke 19:10 (NKJV) – for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

·       Additional scriptures: Mark 2:17 (NKJV), Matthew 9:13 (NKJV), Mark 1:38 (NKJV), John 10:10 (NKJV)

·       Intentionality is purpose with a plan. Be intentional with your time and resources so that you can achieve God’s plan for your life.
